Part of the Early Streamer Emission (ESE) family of products.
The Active 4D® lightning rod can initiate its upward leader to capture the lightning up to 60μs before the strike granting you up to 99% of protection in a 262 feet radius (80m).
Its 2 integrated sensors measure the electrostatic field for a continuous analysis of data regarding upcoming storms.
When combined with Stormn You applications, it can alert a designated user when lightning strikes.
Tested in compliance with the September 2011 NFC 17-102 standard in an independent laboratory accredited COFRAC

Installation:
what you should know
- All lightning rod ESE should be installed on the highest point, fitted on a (or several) stainless steel mast(s) 6.5 feet (2m) above any other elements on the roof.
- Each lightning rod should be equipped with two down conductors, made of tinned copper, and fixed according to approved standards (UL96A or NFPA 780). If the building i made of conducting material, it can also be used as a down conductor.
- Each down conductor should be equipped with its proper accessories (control junction, protective tube, lightning earthing marker).
